Greetings from the President
Our company, has been working mainly on furniture manufacturing since its foundation in 1924, will soon be celebrating its 100th anniversary.
We have consistently worked on moving forward with woods. Today we receive orders from major general contractors, manufacturers, and customers from various industries.
For the next 100 years, Kobayashi Wood Works aims to be a continued growing company toward the future. The launch of our original furniture brand “CoffreK” is the first step in this direction, incorporating new challenges in concept and design, while passing on to the next generation the skilled craftsmanship we have cultivated over the years. As the traditions are passed on to the younger generation, new pillars will be developed… We hope that you will look forward to the future of Kobayashi Woodworks.

Corporate History
| 1924 (Taisho 13) | The First Kaneji Kobayashi founded Kobayashi Wood Works. Manufacture of cutting tools (planers) for carpenters and joiners. |
| 1950 (Showa 25) | Second generation Hisao Kobayashi was appointed the Executive Director. Started manufacturing and selling small planers. |
| 1970 (Showa 45) | Changed the company’s name to Kobayashi Woodworks Co. Started manufacturing mass-produced Fusuma and Fusuma door |
| 1975 (Showa 50) | Started manufacturing wooden fixtures and furniture. |
| 1990 (Heisei 2) | Started full-scale woodworking, in-house processing of artificial marble, and construction of interior fixtures and fittings. |
| 2005 (Heisei 25) | The Third Tomohiro Kobayashi was appointed the Executive Director. Established the office in Osaka |
| 2014 (Heisei 26) | Established the office in Tokyo |
| 2015 (Heisei 27) | Moved to new building (current location) |
| 2016 (Heisei 28) | Ended manufacture of planer Expanded furniture manufacturing to two divisions: special order and mass production Transitioned to a full-scale factory capable of handling small to large lots. Established Nobilia Kitchen Division Established Cook Hoodle Division |
